Our department encompasses human resource management, employment services, benefits administration, and training and professional development. We work to support student success and the campus community through our core business functions and by fostering strategic partnerships with stakeholders across campus.

Health Benefits
Cal Poly Humboldt Health Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, along with other several benefit options such as Flex Cash and Health Care and/or Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts.
Retirement Programs
Full-time employees that exceed six months and half-time appointments averaging 20 hours per week for one year or longer and part-time lecturers and coaches may become eligible to the CalPERS retirement system.

Cal Poly Humboldt's Human Resource's Compensation and Classification program seeks to ensure that all staff and management positions are appropriately compensated and classified in alignment with the California State University (CSU) guidelines.
