Applying for Aid

The Humboldt Financial Aid Office would like to ensure that all families of our future and current Humboldt students understand the Financial Aid process, are well informed about the resources available, and support you in making financially responsible decisions for the student’s educational career.

The 2024 – 2025 FAFSA and CADAA are now open. The California priority filing date for most California programs is May 2nd, 2024. FAFSA and CADAA applications submitted after this priority filing date will still be considered for federal programs, and added to waitlists for state funding. 

The 2025-26 FAFSA & CADAA forms Coming Soon!

The FAFSA and CADAA forms will be available to the public on or before December 1st, 2024. Between Oct. 1st and Dec. 1st, the 2025-2026 FAFSA form will be available to individuals selected to participate in a limited beta release. Participation in the beta release is by invitation only from the Department of Education.
