Cal Poly Humboldt has a wide range of eateries across campus.
Cal Poly Humboldt has a wide range of eateries across campus. Many feature items that are made with sustainably grown, organic ingredients. Vegetarian or vegan? No problem. Several meatless and lactose- and gluten-free options are on the menu. It’s no wonder we’ve been named a top vegan-friendly school. Humboldt is also committed to environmental and social responsibility, which shows in not only the food we serve but also how we serve it.

Bon appétit!
A variety of fresh food for different preferences and dietary needs is our standard. We emphasize quality, made-to-order food, menu customization, variety, value, culinary and nutritional education, and forward-thinking innovations.
Food for thought
We often buy local, getting food and drinks from bakeries, restaurants, farms, and other businesses. Reusable containers reduce waste as do composting efforts. Those efforts include The Food Waste Diversion Program, which keeps hundreds of thousands of pounds of food waste out of landfills. Energy-efficient appliances, such as refrigeration units lit with LED lights, add up to major energy savings.
Choosing the right meal plan
When it comes to food, everyone has a style of their own—which is why we offer four different resident plan options and several non-resident plans options.
