The Financial Aid office is available to answer your questions in person, on the phone, over email, and over Zoom. This page provides all the information on how to connect with us!

Financial Aid Office Operation Hours: 

The Financial Aid office is open Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Any changes to our regular operation hours will be updated on this webpage. Please review the information below on the various ways to connect with the office.

Holiday Closures: The Financial Aid office will be closed on all holidays listed on the Green and Gold Calendar

December 23rd, 2024, January 2nd, 2025, & January 3rd, 2025: Phones will be open from 9:00 - 4:00 and Financial Aid Staff will be available to help you. The front counter will be closed. 

January 6th - January 31st, 2025: This is financial aid peak processing month, some of our standard services will be different due to high volume of incoming questions.

Stop by the office during our open hours to speak with a Student Peer Advisor or a Financial Aid Advisor about your financial aid questions. No appointment is needed for general questions and check in. We look forward to seeing you!

If you can't find your answer on our website, most likely we can answer your question over the phone. Phones are answered weekdays during our hours of operations. Please have your student ID number ready so that we may help you as quickly as possible. Students are required to have an Authorization of Release on file before the Financial Aid office can disclose information to parents or other family members. 

Drop-in Appointments: Available Weekdays 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

For the month of January, the Financial Aid office will be serving drop-in appointments on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students can connect with a Financial Aid Staff member over the phone or at our front counter during our open service hours. Scheduled appointments will return in the month of February

Emails are managed Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to the high volume of incoming emails current response time is 6 - 8 business days. Please include your full name and Humboldt Student ID number so that we may look up your account information. 

Financial Aid Virtual & After Hours Assistance

Zoom sessions are available for students with questions about financial aid. Parents will not be able to access student information without authorization from the student. By participating in remote learning, you agree that you may not save, record, share or post information from sessions or any photos from this session without prior permission. Staff also agree that they will not save, record, share or post from sessions or any photos from this session without prior permission.
