Important Updates & Information

  • Controls work is complete. The engineer is actively commissioning the project.
  • Close out on track for end of March/Early April.
  • Johnson Controls Inc has been selected as the project Contractor.
  • A Pre-Construction meeting was 3/14.
  • Submittals of project specifications are in process.
  • The majority of work is scheduled to occur summer 2018.

Building Controls System Replacement Scope of Work

The University will pursue new building HVAC automation controls in the following buildings:

  • Siemens Hall
  • Harry Griffith Hall
  • Natural Resources
  • Founders Hall
  • Science D and E
  • Student Health Center.

The University will be replacing existing ControlPAK building automation HVAC  control system with a new system to improve controllability, reliability, and  manageability of each buildings space conditioning systems. The University will be utilizing a design‚ build process, in which the awarded contractor will design, install, and program the new controls system.
