Important Updates & Information
- Controls work is complete. The engineer is actively commissioning the project.
- Close out on track for end of March/Early April.
- Johnson Controls Inc has been selected as the project Contractor.
- A Pre-Construction meeting was 3/14.
- Submittals of project specifications are in process.
- The majority of work is scheduled to occur summer 2018.
Building Controls System Replacement Scope of Work
The University will pursue new building HVAC automation controls in the following buildings:
- Siemens Hall
- Harry Griffith Hall
- Natural Resources
- Founders Hall
- Science D and E
- Student Health Center.
The University will be replacing existing ControlPAK building automation HVAC control system with a new system to improve controllability, reliability, and manageability of each buildings space conditioning systems. The University will be utilizing a design‚ build process, in which the awarded contractor will design, install, and program the new controls system.
