Sustainability Research

At Humboldt, sustainability research is identified by determining whether at least two of the three dimensions of sustainability are being examined in the research or the research questions. The dimensions of sustainability are economy, society, and environment. For projects in which interrelationships between two of the three dimensions of sustainability are designated the research is sustainability-related; for projects in which interrelationships between all three of the dimensions of sustainability are examined the research is designated as sustainability-focused.
