The CSU has a new policy on freedom of expression. Learn more.

Title IX requires the university to designate a Title IX Coordinator to monitor and oversee overall Title IX compliance. Your campus Title IX Coordinator is available to explain and discuss:

  • your right to file a criminal complaint (sexual assault and violence);
  • the university’s complaint process, including the investigation process;
  • how confidentiality is handled;
  • available resources and supportive measures, both on and off campus;
  • and other related matters.

If you have a complaint against an Humboldt student or employee for sexual harassment, sex discrimination, or sexual assault, you should contact the Title IX Coordinator. The Title IX Coordinator is responsible for Title IX compliance for matters involving students and employees, including training, education, communication, and administration of grievance procedures for all Title IX complaints.

If you are in the midst of an emergency, please call the police immediately by dialing 9-1-1.

Completed Trainings

34 CFR Part 106.45(10)(D) states, "A recipient must maintain for a period of seven years records of all materials used to train Title IX Coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and any person who facilitates an informal resolution process. A recipient must make these training materials publicly available on its website, or if the recipient does not maintain a website the recipient must make these materials available upon request for inspection by members of the public."

To comply with this part of the regulations, we have created links to these materials under each of the people listed within the "Core Team" section listed below; trainings will be added as we complete them. To access someone's specific training list, click on a contact's name. This is part of our ongoing efforts to serve our community to the best of our ability and emphasize transparency where we can.
