The Humboldt CIRM 2.0 Bridges Program is one of 14 programs throughout the state designed to train the next generation of scientists to accelerate the development of stem cell therapies to patients with unmet medical needs.

CSU Council on Ocean Affairs, Science & Technology (COAST) 

The CSU Council on Ocean Affairs, Science & Technology (COAST) is the umbrella organization for marine, coastal and coastal watershed related activities within the California State University (CSU).

COAST promotes research and education to advance our knowledge of marine and coastal resources and the processes that affect them. As a group we also disseminate scientific information to stakeholders for informed decision-making and the development of responsible policy across California.

STEM Pathways and Research Alliance, California State University Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (CSU-LSAMP)

The Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Program is aimed at increasing the quality and quantity of students successfully completing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) baccalaureate degree programs, and increasing the number of students interested in, academically qualified for and matriculated into programs of graduate study. LSAMP supports sustained and comprehensive approaches that facilitate achievement of the long-term goal of increasing the number of students who earn doctorates in STEM fields, particularly those from populations underrepresented in STEM fields.
