Come take part in one of our most popular courses as we outfit you into a wetsuit, introduce you to our kayaking equipment, and share the basics of paddling technique and water safety! Our official American Canoe Association (ACA) kayak instructors will offer a number of tips and tricks for you to use out on the water as you paddle on beautiful Humboldt Bay and enjoy the fun and relaxing atmosphere! In this course, we focus on Sea Kayaking skills, which requires us to be fitted to sit-inside sea kayaks. These kayaks allow us to glide in the water, and we can learn lots of new skills and techniques, including a wide variety of different paddle strokes, edging techniques, and more! Included in Program Fee: High quality on-shore instruction, on-water assistance from highly trained and qualified sea kayak instructors, wetsuit, booties, splash top, Personal Floatation Device (PFD), sea kayak, and paddle.
