This course is a continuation of our Introduction to Surfing class, or can be a great skill building course if you have surfed previously, but want to learn more about surfing on the Humboldt coast.

In this intermediate course, we will be covering everything from reading and selecting waves, positioning,  line-up protocol, and more. Surf gear is provided, but you are encouraged you to bring your own if you have it!

NOTE: There is a required pre-trip meeting for this course at the Outdoor Adventures office to get you fitted to your gear. Please check the dates and times and make sure you can attend the meeting for your selected trip. If you are unable to attend, please contact us.

 Pre-trip - Monday, April 7, 2025 - 5:00PM - 7:00PM @ Outdoor Adventures Main Office (RWC 101)

Included in Program Fee: Transportation to and from campus, high quality on-shore instruction, on-water assistance from highly trained and qualified surf instructors/lifeguards, 5mm hooded surf wetsuit, booties, and surfboard/leash.

Transportation: Transportation is included in this course. Accessible transportation options available upon request with advanced notice. Participants will be meeting at Cal Poly Humboldt Library Circle. If you wish to arrive at Moonstone independently, please call our office after registration.
