Time: 10 AM- 3 PM

Location: Trillium Falls, meet at Cal Poly Humboldt’s Library Circle

Come with us on a hike of one of Humboldt's best trails! Located in Redwood National and State Parks this 2.7 mile loop is lined with old-growth redwoods, big leaf maples, an assortment of ferns, seasonally blooming trillium, and a 12 foot waterfall! As a bonus the parking lot for the trail is just past one of the best places for a chance to see one of our local Roosevelt elk herds!

Trail: This trail is made of compact gravel, aggregate, and wood. It averages about four feet wide. There is a moderate climb of 5-10% and switchbacks for 1/4 mile. Tree roots occasionally cross the trail.

Transportation: Transportation is provided for this activity. All participants will be meeting at Library Circle on campus.
