Join us for a backpacking trip on one of the most beautiful trails in Northern California, the South Kelsey Trail! This 5-mile out-and-back trail is great for beginners and seasoned backpackers alike: with gorgeous trail views and swimming holes along the way, how can it not be?! With a relatively short distance, frequent breaks and a slow pace, this is a perfect opportunity for beginner backpackers to connect with other nature lovers.

Program Fee Includes: Experienced professional guides who have backcountry medical training, transportation to and from trailhead, backcountry permits, and 4 fully prepared meals (Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and dinner, Sunday breakfast). Program fee also includes any rental gear needed for the trip that participants do not have on their own. Participants must bring their own lunches and snacks.

Pre-Trip: This pre-trip is required if you are registered for this course. The pre-trip not only covers details of the trip, but also fits you to all of the gear that you will need for the duration of the course. Please check the registration page to see the date and time of the pre-trip for this course and alert the Outdoor Adventures office if that date and time doesn’t work for you.
