Finding accessible housing for students can be a challenge due to high costs or limited availability. When students do secure housing, CARE (Campus Assistance, Response, and Engagement Services) understands that circumstances can come up that can make students housing insecure. CARE Services also understands students may be in unsafe or unstable living situations.
Due to this, CARE Services, in collaboration with Housing and Residence, has developed a temporary housing program.
This program assists students by providing a temporary space to stay (up to 21 days) while they get their housing situation settled, and it allows them to better focus on their academic success. Funds are needed to keep this program running in the future and to provide additional materials and resources for students going through the program.
