Celebrate the 20th anniversary of OLLI at Humboldt!

Join us on Saturday, November 15 to celebrate OLLI at Humboldt on its 20th Anniversary! 

Enjoy an afternoon of food, refreshments, and live music, as we honor two decades of incredible accomplishments by OLLI members. The celebration will feature special presentations highlighting the impact and growth of the OLLI learning community. Bring a friend and enjoy the afternoon with our OLLI community!

This special event will be held 3-6 p.m. in the Kate Buchanan Room, second floor of the Gutswurrak Student Activities Center, Cal Poly Humboldt campus.

What to expect at the event

  • Event begins at 3 p.m. There will be free hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.
  • Raffle tickets will be sold, with raffle prizes donated by local businesses and members.
  • You’re welcome to stay for the entire celebration or drop in anytime during the event. However, keep in mind that speaker presentations will be from 4-4:30 p.m., and raffle winners are announced at 5:15 p.m.
  • Current OLLI members will receive a special gift at the event, and there will also be an opportunity to become a member at the event.

Event ends

Parking and accessibility

  • Parking will be free across campus as the event takes place on the weekend.
  • We recommend parking in the library parking lot by Library Circle (circled in purple on the map below), then walking up to the Kate Buchanan Room, where the event takes place in the Gutswurrak Student Activities Center (circled in purple on the map below).
  • The event will be on the second floor of the Student Activities Center. There is an elevator and ramp access to the room.
