Jessica Citti, Ph.D.

Writing Specialist & Writing Studio Coordinator

Jessica Citti is a Writing Specialist in the Learning Center. In addition to coordinating the Writing Studio, she runs the DHSI Grant-funded Writing Fellows program in partnership with the Humboldt School of Education and has taught in Humboldt's EOP/SSS Fall Bridge Program. She also provides individual writing support to undergraduate and graduate students and leads writing-related workshops across campus. 

She holds a Ph.D. in Literary Studies and Italian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.A. in English from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Before joining the Humboldt community in 2014, she taught writing and rhetoric courses for STEM majors at the University of Iowa, first-year composition at the University of Notre Dame, and technical communication in the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Engineering.
