Xelha Puc

Administrative Support Assistant

“EOP/SSS is like a home away from home. They provided me with countless advice and even walked me to the Financial Aid building when I was uncomfortable to move around places alone. The community and the support this program gives to all its students is what

allows all undergraduates to be successful.” Xelha said.

Xelha grew up in Las Angeles, CA, and recently graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt earning her degree in Psychology and is a proud Humboldt EOP/SSS Alum.

Xelha is EOP/SSS’s Front Desk Administrative Assistant and enjoys working alongside a team who helps and pushes their students to excel in their academics and in life.

“Staff and students are always so kind and full of smiles,” Xelha said.

When she isn’t busy helping students at the front desk, you might find Xelha visiting the Sequoia Park Zoo, playing with her pup at the Eureka Dog Park or if it’s a Saturday, enjoying the Farmers Market on the Arcata Plaza.

Xelha was an EOP/SSS student and hopes to help students in the way she was helped by the program. In her words, “I aim to become a person students can trust and reach out to, whether they are scheduling an appointment or needing guidance around campus. I am here to point you in the right direction.”

Xelha knows from personal experience what it’s like to navigate the college journey.  She offered some guidance on this, “Never feel like you are supposed to go through this journey alone. Through intimidating life experiences, always remember it is okay to ask for help. And EOP/SSS is always here to lend a helping hand.”
