Pivot Teaching Showcase
The CTL’s Pivot Teaching Showcase is a collection of Humboldt educator-created resources, assessments, videos, activities, and more as part of their four-week exploration in the Pivot to Online Learning and Teaching asynchronus course during Summer 20 and 21. Educators had a unique journey stepping into the role of online students to reimagine their teaching and design through an interactive course informed by the research, theories, and practices that lead to meaningful online learning experiences.
The Pivot Teaching Showcase requires your Humboldt login. Enjoy!
Course Transformation Institute Showcase
The CTL’s Course Transformation Institute (CTI) is an annual program that supports instructors in re-imagining teaching and students’ learning through evidence-based practices and the opportunity to engage with colleagues to design significant student learning experiences.
The 2021 CTI focused on supporting disciplinary-based groups as they transformed their identified courses to further a department or program level goal. Each disciplinary-based group examined fundamental course structures while uncovering big ideas and essential questions, explicated the student-thinking goals, and developed an implementation plan to work on during Spring 2021.
