Deborah Ketelsen

Media Production Specialist - Lead

Deborah Ketelsen is a Media Production Specialist for the Center for Teaching & Learning. She has over 35 years of experience working in all facets of media, primarily in radio and television. She holds a BA in journalism and a special minor in Native American Studies from Cal Poly Humboldt. She also graduated with honors, from Ohio University, with an MA in Public Telecommunication and Broadcast Management. Deborah has taught Beginning and Advanced Video at Humboldt, TV News Workshop, and Advertising Copy and Design. She also taught African Dance through the Department of Theatre, Film and Dance at Humboldt for 13 years. For over 30 years, when not working or dancing, Deborah was guiding rafts or kayaking down one of Northern California's six rivers! Additional passions include hiking, gardening and photography.
