Lonyx Landry

INRSEP Coordinator & Advisor

Lonyx Landry is a citizen of the Nor Rel Muk Wintu Nation and a self-determined indigenous minded person. He is the Indian Natural Resources, Science and Engineering Program (INRSEP) Native Programs Coordinator and Advisor. He is appointed by his Tribe to represent the interest of Native Americans in Trinity County as a Council Member to the Northern California Indian Development Council (NCIDC). Lonyx is a founder and current Director of the federal contract eligible Indian Organization, Inter-Tribal Student Services. Lonyx is a community advocate regarding offshore wind (OSW) energy development within the Redwood Region Climate and Community Resilience (CORE) Hub, as well as his Tribe’s OSW Consultant. He has a BS in Biology and a Minor in American Indian Education from Humboldt State University. Lonyx utilizes the many hats he wears to serve American Indians and other minoritized developing professionals in STEMM.
