Amanda Beardsley, Ed.M.

Coordinator - McNair Scholars Program

Amanda Marie Beardsley, Ed.M., has worked with children and families for over twenty years. Some of her previous roles include working for CASA as a children's advocate, teaching for Karuk Tribal Head Start, and working as a teacher for parenting classes with families in recovery programs. She has served as Assistant Professor for National Universities Sanford College of Education, and Instructor for CSU Stanislaus Department of Psychology and Child Development, and Early Childhood Education Department at Umpqua Community College. Amanda, the McNair Scholars Program Coordinator at Cal Poly Humboldt, holds a Masters Degree in Adult and Higher Education from Oregon State University and BS in Child Development from Southern Oregon University.
