Building Evacuation Drills
As per California State Law, Cal Poly Humboldt is required to perform annual building evacuation drills on campus during normal business hours. This means that the drills must be conducted during the semester and when the building is expected to be occupied. Drills will be divided into two weeks throughout the year: the first week of March and the third week of October. The following schedule lists out the major buildings on campus and what date/time the drills will be performed.
Since this schedule has been approved by Risk, Facilities Management, Academics, and UPD, no changes will be made and will be followed every year. If you do not see your building listed, Risk will contact those occupants directly if a drill is needed.
Any dorm evacuation drill questions should be directed to Housing as Risk does not oversee dormitory evacuation drills.
