Get to know Humboldt County with our Discover Humboldt Series! From vibrant art exhibits to wildlife encounters, this series highlights some of the best local activities and places to visit, all while offering information on transportation options to get there.

• Arts Alive (2/1/24): Experience one of Humboldt’s most exciting monthly events, Arts Alive! Stroll through downtown Eureka to explore art galleries, live music, and vendor booths. Grab a cup of hot cocoa and immerse yourself in the local art scene!

• Sequoia Park Zoo & Skywalk (2/8/24): Visit the Sequoia Park Zoo, the oldest zoo in California, and take a walk through the Redwood Skywalk, a treetop pathway that offers breathtaking views of the forest. Learn about the diverse wildlife that calls the zoo home and the history behind this iconic institution.

• Roller Derby (TBD): Get your adrenaline pumping by watching Humboldt’s best skaters at the local roller derby! Whether you’re a fan or new to the sport, it’s a fun and exciting way to enjoy the local culture. Event details to be announced soon!

Program Fee Includes: Transportation to and from each event from Cal Poly Humboldt Library Circle, entry fees to locations or events, an experienced guide joining your adventure to offer information, tips, and keep you safe!
