2021 Special Visit

In February 2021, the university submitted a Special Visit Report in response to requests made in WSCUC’s 2018 reaffirmation of the university's accreditation. 

In the July 2021 action letter that followed the April special visit, the Commission highlighted the university's empowered and diverse leadership; its commitment to improving equitable student outcomes through innovative programs such as place-based learning communities; its transparency and communications regarding the university’s long-term goals; and the significant strides made toward building an operational university-wide system of assessment. It also identified four areas on which it requested updates in the university’s upcoming 2023 progress report.
