Terms:

  • 2 years for Appointed members

Duties:

  • Develop a plan for comprehensive education, prevention, and intervention programming concerning alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use, including assessing community substance use and abuse and developing appropriate education and social norming strategies. The committee reviews and develops recommendations for campus policies and procedures related to alcohol, tobacco, and drug use issues for students, staff, and faculty. The committee submits a report at the end of each spring term to the Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs and to the President.
