Delve into the science of our daily lives, including weather, pressure, heat, sound waves and musical instruments, electromagnetic waves such as radio waves, mixing light and colors, forces, gravity, and basic astronomy. This course includes lots of hands-on activities, experiments, demos, and props.

Elliott Parivar

Elliott Parivar is a scientist/horticulturist/botanist with nearly four decades of teaching experience at the middle school, high school, and college levels. He has taught classes full-time at Harvard-Westlake School and part-time at Los Angeles Pierce College.
