With Elizabeth Morrison, Musician & Group Leader
Join musician Elizabeth Morrison mostly on Mondays before each Eureka Symphony classical concert to preview the music, explore the composers, and learn about the musicians who bring the performances to life.
Whether you’re new to classical music or a longtime enthusiast, all you need is curiosity and an eagerness to learn more about what you’ll hear at the Symphony.
This year, the focus is on the five concerts of the 2025-2026 Eureka Symphony season. You’ll dive into timeless works like Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4, featuring pianist John Chernoff, and discover Ghost of the White Deer, a powerful bassoon concerto by Chickasaw composer Jerod Impichchaachaaha’ Tate.
Each session includes musical excerpts, background on the composers, and insights into the performers and soloists.
On May 18, this group will meet in person at a local restaurant (TBD). This will be an optional get together for participants of this virtual class to connect with one another.
Class #: 44055
This group is FREE for OLLI members, thanks to the generous support of the Eureka Symphony.
