My current plan is to become a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant. My journey toward a career in medicine has been marked by both personal adversity and transformative experiences. I am excited about the opportunity to expand upon these experiences through this internship, where I can shadow healthcare practitioners specializing in primary care and geriatrics, and further understand the unique challenges rural communities face.
