Credential Programs
After earning your bachelors degree and passing required exams, you’ll need a teaching credential--a license that allows you to teach elementary, middle, or school, or students with support needs.
Our credential programs are generally two semesters and grounded in field experience.
Classroom-based practice in local public schools is supplemented with in-person coursework. You’ll not only apply what you learn but also experience diverse public school settings.
Elementary Education
A multiple subject credential that allows you to teach elementary school.
Secondary Education
A single subject credential that allows you to teach junior high or high school. Offered as a fully online and on-campus program.
Education Specialist
This credential qualifies you for TK-12 Education Specialist positions to teach youth with mild to moderate support needs due to disabilities.
Educational Leadership
This credential is geared toward educational professionals who are currently working in schools full time.
Master of Arts in Education
Designed for a practicing educator, this program is focused on conducting research that can directly impact the classroom and school.

The School of Education offers a unique four year bachelor's degree and credential program called Liberal Studies Elementary Education. This program will give you a B.A. in Liberal Studies and an Elementary Education credential in four years.
