Saige Heuer
Lab and Project Field Director
Saige is an archaeologist with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. Her interest in migration patterns and the origins of agriculture have taken her to the Dos Hombres to Gran Cacao (DH2GC) Archeology Project in Belize, Central America and to Crnobuki, in North Macedonia, where she has conducted extensive excavation with a focus on geoarchaeology and soil science. For the past 8 years, she has gained professional experience in Humboldt County in cultural resource surveys, excavation, technical reporting and project management. Saige is currently the director of the Cultural Resources Facility Student Internship Program.
