The Cultural Resources Facility (CRF) is dedicated to providing clients with a range of cultural resource management services in an efficient and timely manner.   We specialize in project compliance with historic preservation laws and regulations under federal, state, and local jurisdiction.  The CRF offers services in archaeological surveying, GIS, remote sensing, site mapping, excavations, construction monitoring, historical research, heritage interpretation, and ethnographic consulting.

Our cultural resources management staff includes archaeologists, architectural historians, ethnographers, and GIS specialists.  Our principal staff members meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualifications (36 CFR 61) in their respective disciplines.  We have expertise in determining site eligibility in compliance with the National Register of Historic Places - including designations of Traditional Cultural Properties - and with the California Register of Historic Resources.  The CRF also has extensive experience with NAGPRA compliance projects.
