Patrick Dooley O’Rourke

Research Associate

Patrick has been with the CRF since August 2023. He spent his formal training and education as a cultural historian, researching histories of the Soviet Union and the postwar United States. However, he has found theoretical connections from his previous studies to archaeology through his work in cultural resource management. At CRF, Patrick has served in a supervisory capacity while identifying, cataloging, photographing, and interpreting historic artifacts; leading and conducting archaeological field survey across northern California; and advising undergraduate students on research projects and presentations.
