I hope the 4th week of the semester is going well for each of you. It’s hard to believe we are already a month into Fall 2022!

 

ITS and Research Infrastructure Faculty Fellows

ITS is delighted to be joined by the following fellows who will be reaching out to your department soon.

 

Accessibility Faculty Fellows

The Faculty Accessibility Fellowship Program cohort will help mentor, train, and guide other faculty on how to use universal design and accessibility throughout their courses. The program is designed to help create a culture of accessibility across campus so that all students have equal access to learning.

Open Forums for Academic Advising Candidates

The search committee and Interim Director of Academic Advising, Loren Collins, invites you to attend Open Forum(s) for the candidates for the 8 new academic advisor positions open in the Academic and Career Advising Center. A special thank you to Dr. Eileen Cashman, Dr. Joice Chang, and Associate Dean Justus Ortega for joining the ACAC search committee team as representatives of the Colleges and academic departments. 

 

The candidate(s) were asked to create a 10-minute presentation on the following: How would you support first-generation and/or underrepresented college students in their freshman year? 

Afterward, there will be time for Q&A. All open forums will be held over zoom; please see the schedule for dates and times.

Feedback will need to be provided by Monday, September 26, 2022 @ 5:00 pm. As these 8 positions are open until filled, additional candidates may be sought and/or announced in the future and additional open forums scheduled.
