GEAR Program Review
The campus GEAR program is undergoing its first-ever program review, and we would like your input! The GEAR committee has drafted this GEAR Program Self-Study. Updated International Third-party Vendor Process for Study Abroad
A recent review of the process and criteria for utilizing a third-party vendor to deliver student abroad programs elevated a number of necessary updates. Those have been completed and the updated process and criteria can be found here.

The presentation is a collaboration between the President's Office, Enrollment Management & Student Success, and Academic Affairs ITS Institutional Research, Analytics, and Reporting.

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) is excited to announce
The hire of a new City of Arcata equity arcata Manager Mo Harper-Desir. This is an inaugural full-time position of an equity arcata Manager with the City of Arcata. This represents a partnership between the City of Arcata, Cal Poly Humboldt, local businesses, and members of the community working together to make Arcata a more inclusive and welcoming environment for People of Color. Mo is an experienced community organizer and founder of Black Humboldt, a community organization that seeks to promote existing black businesses, professionals, and organizations, support Black navigation, and help unify people of color (POC).
ODEI is also excited to announce that Cal Poly Humboldt is part of the CSU Hispanic Serving Institution Action Research Network funded by the College Futures Foundation. This network spans eight CSU campuses and is dedicated to enhancing cross-campus collaboration to improve support and resources for Latinx students within the CSU system. Members of the Humboldt team include Associate Professor of Psychology, Dr. Brandilynn Villarreal; Social Justice and Equity Executive Officer with Associated Students, student Anna Martinez; Campus and Community Development Coordinator with the ODEI, Fernando Paz.
URPC Divisional Updates Continues this Friday, November 15, 2024
This Friday, November 15th, 2024 we will resume the divisional presentations at the next URPC meeting from 1 pm-2:30 pm. The campus community is invited to join our meeting virtually to hear updates from Academic Affairs and Enrollment Management. You can join via this Zoom link.
Academic Affairs will be presenting their update at 1:30 pm and Enrollment Management and Student Success will commence at 2 pm. 15 minutes will be allotted for each presentation and 15 minutes for Q&A. I am looking forward to the continued engagement of the campus community.
