January 18, 2023
I hope your first week of the Spring 2023 semester is off to a great start. It was wonderful to see so many of you at the University Welcome Back last week as well as at the Division of Academic Affairs Welcome Back. If you missed the Academic Affairs Welcome back, we discussed points of pride, enrollment, curriculum development, and process as well as engaged in a bit of question and answer. Much gratitude to my co-presenters Mr. Mike Le, Director of Institutional Research and Reporting (IRAR), and Dr. Carmen Bustos-Works, Associate Vice President of Academic Programs. If you were not able to attend the Academic Affairs Welcome back, we recorded it and you can find the link here.
Kudos
Congratulations to Susan Edinger Marshall, Todd Golder, and the six students who are going to be competing in the Society for Range Management Conference in Boise, Idaho for the annual plant competition. Last year the team finished second and this year there are high hopes for an even better finish. Good luck and we’re proud of you.
