February 7, 2024

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday.

Shout Out

Congratulations to Sarah Ben-Zvi who has received the California Associate of Teachers of English (CATE) award for classroom excellence, Sarah's good work in supporting local high school teachers in developing meaningful writing and literacy curricula, her expert coordination of the annual Redwood Writing Contest for students in grades 3-12, and her dedication to first-year composition students are a few examples that lead to this acknowledgment.

Recruitment Campaigns

Enrollment management has been reaching out to you all to share the Sign-up form for Department Call Campaigns and Postcard Campaigns. A few things to note:

  • When signing up I have allowed for multiple majors to be selected in case departments want to sign up together or separate for the different programs. This is to allow flexibility so departments can decide individually how they want to conduct their yield work.
  • There will be two options for call campaigns and two options for postcard campaigns. See the form for more details.
  • Lastly, Enrollment Management will follow up with individuals with all the appropriate materials and training to complete this work.

Please contact Chelsea Mooney, Interim Associate Director of Strategic Student Communications if you have questions. I truly appreciate the collaboration with Enrollment Management.
