August 21, 2024

Hello and happy Wednesday. I hope that your week has gotten off to a great start and you have had an opportunity to engage with some of our new and continuing students. I would like to take a moment to acknowledge our new tenured/tenure-track faculty for 2024. You will notice a few familiar names as a few faculty either began their work in the springtime or were formerly lecturer faculty. They are:

  • Dr. Pascal Biwole, Engineering

  • Dr. Allison Bronson, Biological Sciences

  • Dr. Alana Chin, Biological Sciences

  • Leah Choi, MLIS, Library, CNRS

  • Dr. Gabi Kirk, Department of Geography, Environment & Spatial Analysis

  • Dr. Chelsea Obeidy, Department of Forestry, Fire and Rangeland Management

  • Dr. Rachael Wade, Biological Sciences

  • Dr. Tess Weathers, Engineering

Campus Disability Resource Center (CDCR) Meet and Greets

The CDRC has undergone (and continues to undergo) exciting and significant changes including process and procedure changes.  The changes encompass everything from the interactive process to the accommodation memorandums that faculty receive for students with disabilities who are approved for accommodations.

Cassandra Tex, Interim Assistant Director of the Campus Disability Resource Center (CDRC), and the CDCR staff would like to invite faculty to learn about these changes.  They have scheduled two “CDRC Meet and Greet” opportunities where faculty can come to be introduced to the student accommodation process, learn about the exciting changes the CDRC has undergone, and ask any questions they may have.

 Session Day/Time/Location:

  • Wednesday, August 21, 2024: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm in SBS 405

  • Friday, August 30, 2024: 10:30 am – 11:30 am in Lib 002
