September 25, 2023

Hello everyone and happy Monday. I hope you had a fabulous weekend. The weather is starting to feel a little bit cooler, the leaves are changing colors, and it’s definitely beginning to feel a bit like fall.

CSU Chief Information Officer (CIO) held in Humboldt last week

Cal Poly Humboldt welcomed the CSU Chief Information Officer’s Meeting last week and several CIOs as well as Chancellor’s office staff joined us in Humboldt to connect on important issues. A special thanks to Bethany Rizzardi for her work in coordinating and hosting this meeting.

CARE Services

The Campus Assistance, Response, and Engagement (CARE) Services Program supports the well-being and success of Cal Poly Humboldt students by facilitating referrals, support, and advocacy through non-clinical interventions. Please visit the CARE website and watch this short video with information on how to refer to CARE Services.

Academic Affairs is Hiring!

We are currently recruiting for several positions across Academic Affairs. The University Senate is now accepting applications for an Administrative Support Coordinator, RAMP (Retention Through Academic Mentoring) is looking for a First Year Pathway Coordinator, Academic Personnel Services is hiring an Academic Personnel Specialist, and the College of Extended Education & Global Engagement is looking for a Program Support Specialist. Please visit the HR website for these and other employment opportunities.

Thanks and have a terrific week.
