Advancing Research Infrastructure and Capabilities Update from ITS
Through strategic partnerships with CSU campuses and the San Diego Supercomputing Center, Information Technology Services (ITS) secured the NSF TIDE grant, significantly enhancing data-intensive research. ITS established a dedicated high-speed network and joined the National Research Platform, providing our faculty and students with access to cutting-edge computing resources and the ability to process and transfer large data sets efficiently. Additionally, collaboration with the College of Natural Resources and Sciences allowed for the implementation of donated NVIDIA servers, advancing artificial intelligence research. The launch of the Humboldt High-Performance Computing Center further centralizes support for faculty research.
