February 27, 2023

Hello everyone,

I hope you had a great weekend and were able to get out in the sunshine some on Saturday at least!

CEEGE Dean Candidate Open Forums

The search committee and I invite you to attend Open Forums for each of the four candidates for the position of Dean of the College of Extended Education & Global Engagement. Candidates have been asked to provide a 15-minute presentation followed by a Q&A session on the following: What is your bold vision and rationale for the future of professional & continuing education at Cal Poly Humboldt? Please include how that vision increases access to a college education, workforce development, and advances diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

All open forums will take place from 2:00-3:00 pm in SAC 131 (Banquet Room). They will also be recorded and shared for later viewing and providing feedback to the search committee.

The purpose of the open forum is to update the campus community on budget planning and priorities for the university as well as seek feedback and suggestions. At least 30 minutes will be set aside for Q&A. The session will be offered in person only but will be recorded and released to the campus community following the forum.

Shout out to Information Technology Services (ITS) Team Members

I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the work of Breck Robinson, Corey Holderman, Robert Yunker, and Emily Oparowski who jumped right in to help solve an issue that had a tight turnaround time. Thanks so much for your help!

Have a great week.

Jenn
