Great Job!
Nicolette Amann, Lecturer in English and coordinator of the Redwood Writing Project for local Humboldt teachers, and Anne Hartline, lecturer in the School of Education, recently facilitated a year-long professional development program on the untold local histories of Humboldt County and California. This project resulted in multiple sharable lessons created by local teachers that have been published at the National Writing Project site. Various College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS) faculty presented on the following topics as part of the program. Thank you to these wonderful folks for their leadership and collaboration!
- Ryder Dschida (History): Chinese/American/Pacific Islander Experience in Hum Co & CA

- Sarah Ray (Env Studies): How to Keep Your Cool on a Warming Planet: An Existential Toolkit for the Climate Generation
