Alistair & Judith McCrone Graduate Fellowship Award
Cal Poly Humboldt established the Alistair and Judith McCrone Graduate Fellowship Fund in October 2001. The fund was created to honor Dr. and Mrs. McCrone, who together shepherded Cal Poly Humboldt and its students for over a quarter of a century. This award will recognize one outstanding graduate student, acknowledge their potential, and encourage their continued achievement in their graduate program.
First-year students who have been in their Cal Poly Humboldt Graduate Program for less than one academic year are eligible for nominations. Cozen O'Connor Open Forum
All faculty and non-MPP staff are invited to an open forum with representatives from the Cozen O'Connor law firm to provide feedback on issues surrounding Title IX and Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation (DHR). The open forum will take place on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 3:45- 4:45 pm in the Great Hall. To ensure that anyone who wishes to speak has an opportunity to do so, they request that everyone limit their remarks to three minutes or less (like the Senate Open Forum).
Cozen O'Connor has been hired by the CSU for a system-wide assessment of Title IX, and DHR processes and procedures. Part of this assessment involves individual campus visits, and ours is scheduled for December 6, 7, & 8. In addition to the open forum, Cozen O'Connor will be providing faculty, staff, and students with a survey to further gain insight into our Campus Title IX & DHR issues (no identifying info will be collected unless volunteered and the survey info will only go to Cozen O'Connor). They have also created an email address: CalStateReview@cozen.com, where you can share your experiences. Like the survey, the emails only go to Cozen O'Connor and no identifying information is shared.
Lastly, if anyone would like to speak directly to representatives from Cozen O'Connor, you may request an individual Zoom meeting either through the survey or email.
Have a great day.
