Hello everyone,
Welcome back! I am looking forward to working with each of you during the 2024-2025 Academic Year. For new faculty and staff joining our team, we are so excited to have you here with us. For those of you who are continuing employees, I am looking forward to resetting after a challenging end to the last academic year. I am hoping that the summertime brought you all some opportunities to relax, refresh, and recharge whether you are a 12-month employee and worked throughout the summer or had some time off-contract completely. While I was here all summer plugging away, I had the opportunity to get outside A LOT, and backpacked, hiked, ran, walked the pups, surfed, paddled boarded, kayaked, snorkeled, um, you sense a theme. For me, getting outside offers me time to recharge for the new academic year.
Please join me for the following events during our first week of green days:

Finally, please save the date for College Colors Day which is Friday, September 13, 2024, from 12 pm-4 pm at the Upper Playing Field on campus. This is an expansion of the campus picnic and is in alignment with National College Colors Day. This event is an opportunity to come together as a Lumberjack community to show school pride and spirit. Students, staff, faculty, alumni, and families are invited to attend this event, which features food, face painting, games, and a staff and faculty kickball tournament! If you are interested in participating on the Academic Affairs Kickball Team please contact OAAVP or Julie Stewart, our team captain.
