Megan Mefford

Leadership Studies Transfer & Graduation Counselor

Megan Mefford has worked with international students at Humboldt State University/Cal Poly Humboldt since 2006. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of international admission and immigration advising for Cal Poly Humboldt international students. Additionally, Megan manages the Study Abroad programming and the advising of students seeking study or internship opportunities abroad. Megan is a graduate of Humboldt State University with a B.A. in anthropology and a master’s degree in education. During her undergraduate degree, she studied abroad at the University of Ghana, Legon, spending much of that time outside the classroom traveling through Ghana, Burkina Faso, Mali, Togo and Benin. She has had the pleasure of visiting many other countries in Europe, Asia, and Central America over the years. She loves beautiful Humboldt County and enjoys spending her free time with her family. Megan enjoys meeting and serving students from around the world.
