Why did you choose this program?
I chose to go to HSU because of the small and friendly environment in Humboldt County.
How did this program prepare you for your job?
The math department at HSU was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to job searching my senior year. Also professors like Dr.Dugaw and Dr,Goetz were extremely helpful and knowledgeable as well.
What did you enjoy most about the program?
I enjoyed the friends I have made within the math community at HSU. Staying up long hours and early mornings together studying for exams and projects gave me the college experience I needed to help me excel in the work force.
What would you say to prospective students who are thinking about applying to this program?
I would tell them that HSU is a great school to study mathematics at, not only because of the great math professors, but also because of the tranquil and easy life style that allows students to focus mainly on their studies.
