Why did you choose this program?
I chose the Rangeland Resource Science program at HSU because it was the last school in California to offer the Rangeland Resource Science Major, and it happened to be in my hometown.
How did this program prepare you for your job?
The Rangeland Resource Science program at HSU prepared me extremely well for my job. The education and hands-on experience gained at HSU is second to none when it comes to conservation planning.
What did you enjoy most about the program?
I enjoyed the small class sizes, the frequent field trips and lab work, and getting hands-on experience with real projects and real people within the community.
What would you say to prospective students who are thinking about applying to this program?
If you are considering a degree in Rangeland Resource Science, HSU's range program should be at the top of your list. I received a top-notch education that prepared me for a career in Rangeland Management in every way possible.
