About Connor

Why did you choose this program?

I chose the HSU Computer Science program because of its smaller class sizes, interactive labs, and hands-on approach. I really appreciated the learn-by-doing approach and graduated college having many projects in my portfolio.

How did this program prepare you for your job?

This program prepared me for a professional career by developing valuable skills in programming, data structures, web application development, and algorithms.

What did you enjoy most about the program?

The two most challenging and valuable courses I have ever taken were data structures and algorithms taught by Adam Carter. These two courses are what many coding interviews focus on.

What would you say to prospective students who are thinking about applying to this program?

This program offers challenging courses that prepare you for a solid career in any of the computer science related disciplines. Feel free to reach out to me via LinkedIn, I was born and raised in Humboldt County and am more than willing to answer any questions prospective/current students may have.
