About Charlotte Lauren

Why did you choose this program?

I chose the journalism program because I wanted to become a voice for those who were unable to use theirs.

How did this program prepare you for your job?

As in the journalism field, the after-school world throws a lot of curveballs at you. Learning to adapt quickly to abrupt changes and being flexible in an ever-changing environment helped me prepare for my current job.

What did you enjoy most about the program?

I enjoyed working with many people from unique and diverse backgrounds. I have grown into the person I am today because of those people.

What would you say to prospective students who are thinking about applying to this program?

If you believe that your words hold power and are important, the journalism program will help you hone your writing skills and encourage your development.
