Why did you choose this program?
I wanted a career that allowed me to work outdoors doing conservation work that would have meaning.
How did this program prepare you for your job?
This program did a fantastic job providing field work techniques that I use consistently. It gave knowledge of what kinds of jobs you could find in the field and fieldwork and coursework to allow you to perform the tasks that would be required when on the job.
What did you enjoy most about the program?
Small class sizes that really allowed you to make sincere connections to the instructors and your fellow peers. All the field trips were great too.
What would you say to prospective students who are thinking about applying to this program?
Switching from pursuing a degree in wildlife to a degree in Rangeland Management was the best decision I could have made. Employers and colleagues were often impressed with how prepared and knowledgable I was when first beginning my career and it greatly due to the range program and the awesome instructors.
