About Alex
Why did you choose this program?
Job availability and interest in the discipline.
How did this program prepare you for your job?
It gave me a ton of both coursework and field work in addition to a network of people in several agencies doing work in range and soils.
What did you enjoy most about the program?
Smaller classes, field work year-round, instructors, and opportunities.
What would you say to prospective students who are thinking about applying to this program?
I would say that HSU grads get considered for a lot of positions in California with the NRCS because of our reputation and how many alumni have been hired.
