Stand-to-Pee Device: Quick Guide

Purpose: Stand-to-pee (STP) devices allow individuals to urinate while standing, offering greater convenience and flexibility.

How to Use a Stand-to-Pee Device

  1. Practice: Begin by practicing in the shower to get comfortable with the device.
  2. Positioning:
    • Place the widest part of the device centered under your urethra.
    • Ensure that no clothing is inside the cup portion to avoid leaks and discomfort.
  3. Urinate:
    • Urinate as you normally would, using the device to direct the urine flow.
  4. After Urination:
    • Wait a moment to ensure that all urine has drained from the device.
  5. Adjusting:
    • Pull the device forward up against your belly with light pressure to secure it in place and prevent any drips.

Tips for Effective Use:

  • Practice Regularly: Familiarize yourself with the device in a comfortable setting before using it in public or unfamiliar places.
  • Clean After Use: Wash the device thoroughly after each use to maintain hygiene.
  • Check Fit: Ensure the device fits well and comfortably to prevent leaks and ensure ease of use.

Chest Binding: A Quick Guide

Purpose: Binding techniques allow individuals to achieve a flatter appearance for their chest

Important Considerations:

  • Breathing & Mobility: You should always be able to take a deep breath and move your arms freely.
  • Breaks: If you feel pain, have difficulty breathing, or experience numbness, tingling, dehydration, or back pain, take a break immediately. Do not bind for more than 8-12 hours (6 hours if under 18). Never sleep in a binder.
  • Sizing: Follow the sizing guidelines of your binder to ensure proper fit and safety.
  • Materials: Do not use duct tape or ace bandages for binding; they are unsafe for your skin.

Method 1: Using a Binder

  1. Measure Your Chest:
    • Use measuring tape to measure around your chest and shoulders.
    • If you have broad shoulders, consider going up a size (check the brand’s size chart).
  2. Wear the Binder:
    • Turn the binder inside out and upside down (tag should face you).
    • Step into the binder, pull it up to your beltline, and then over your shoulders.
    • Adjust as needed for comfort.

Method 2: Using Tape

  1. Allergy Test:
    • Apply a small test strip of tape to clean, dry skin to check for any allergic reactions.
  2. Prepare the Skin:
    • Clean your chest with soap and water (or use rubbing alcohol if needed)
  3. Protect Nipples:
    • Use gauze or folded toilet paper squares to cover your nipples.
  4. Apply Tape:
    • Push chest tissue down and back while applying the tape over the area.
    • Smooth the tape to avoid wrinkles, which could cause irritation.
    • If necessary, apply a second staggered strip for extra hold.
  5. Tape Removal:
    • Rub the tape with oil (like jojoba or kitchen oil) and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before slowly removing it.

Tucking: A Quick Guide

Important Considerations:

  • Listen to your body: If you experience discomfort, irritation, or pain, take a break.
  • Time limits: Take breaks every 8-12 hours, and never sleep while tucked.
  • Use proper materials: Only use medical-grade tape—avoid duct, scotch, or packing tape.
  • Hygiene: Wash any materials that come into contact with your tuck thoroughly.
  • Fit and sizing: Use size charts and brand recommendations to ensure a proper fit.

Method 1: Inguinal Canal Tuck (Best with tape but the less comfortable version):

  1. Locate the inguinal canals: Gently push your testicles up into your body using 2-3 fingers. These areas are the inguinal canals.
  2. Position the scrotal skin: Pull the leftover scrotal skin towards your buttocks.
  3. Secure the tuck: Use tight/specialized underwear or medical-grade tape to hold the tuck in place, starting at the pubic hair region (I suggest shaving!) all the way to within the buttocks crack

Method 2: The Everything Tuck (Safer and quicker):

  1. Position your package: Pull your entire package (penis, scrotum, and testicles) back towards your buttocks.
  2. Secure the tuck: Use tight/specialized underwear or medical-grade tape to secure everything in place.

Products to Use

  • Medical-grade tape:
    • Best for the inguinal canal tuck.
    • Use approximately 13 inches of tape.
    • Can be paired with a gaff (compression underwear) for added security and comfort.
    • Secure the tape starting where your pubic hair begins (shaving recommended for this method) and fasten it within the buttock crease.
  • Gaff (Compression Underwear):
    • Helps keep the tuck secure by holding the testicles in place.
